MITA LCAP 2015 Review

What is the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP)?

The LCAP is an important component of the LCFF. Under the LCFF all LEAs are required to prepare an LCAP, which describes how they intend to meet annual goals for all pupils, with specific activities to address state and local priorities identified pursuant to EC Section 52060(d).

In English, it is a school or district’s plan of action for student outcomes.  The goals outlined by the LCAP is then used as a guidebook for budgetary decisions.  You can find more detailed info on the LCAP and LCFF here: http://www.cde.ca.gov/fg/aa/lc/lcfffaq.asp
